Sherrilyn Kenyon began her Dark-Hunter series in 2002 with 'Fantasy Lover.' She continues the series and answers many questions with the tale of Acheron. His presence has been felt in all of the Dark-Hunter Series. Acheron was born eleven thousand years ago as a god that was cursed into the body of a human. He spent his life-time in shame, but upon his human death a horror was unleashed that almost destroyed the earth. Brought back Acheron became the sole defender of mankind. He hid the past and lived a solitary life until one woman who refused to be intimidated by him makes him feel things he never has. This is a compelling story of good and evil, gods and goddesses and those who fight for right. If you like your romances with a bit of history and supernatural you should enjoy this book. It is not for the light of hearts as it 728 pages long.
